For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and grated ginger to make the sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Divide cooked rice among bowls, top with the honey garlic chicken, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
