For the Crust:
- 1 medium head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic, thyme, and paprika, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add sliced cabbage to the skillet, tossing to coat with oil and spices. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in vegetable broth and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cabbage is tender and caramelized.
- Uncover and cook for an additional 5 minutes to reduce any excess liquid. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
