For the Crust:
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, melted butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in chopped strawberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Do not stir.
- Sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
