Description

A delicate, airy panna cotta infused with fresh orange zest and orange blossom water, creating a light and fragrant dessert that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin (about 2 1/4 tsp)
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • Zest of 1 large orange
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, heat cream, sugar, orange zest, and salt over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is steaming (do not boil). Remove from heat.
  3. Stir bloomed gelatin into the warm cream mixture until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir in orange blossom water and vanilla extract. Strain mixture through a fine sieve to remove zest.
  5. Divide mixture among 4 ramekins or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh orange segments or edible flowers if desired.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
