Description
A sweet and tangy side dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts tossed in a maple-balsamic glaze and topped with crispy walnuts and dried cranberries.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and edges are browned.
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar and maple syrup.
- Add walnuts to the baking sheet during the last 5 minutes of roasting to toast lightly.
- Transfer roasted Brussels sprouts and walnuts to a serving bowl, drizzle with the maple-balsamic glaze, and toss to coat.
- Stir in dried cranberries just before serving.
