For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the Brussels sprout halves to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the glaze.
- Thread the Brussels sprouts onto skewers, placing them cut-side down for even roasting.
- Arrange the skewers on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and caramelized.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with extra maple syrup or mustard.
