Description

Elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy Brie, sweet pears, and crunchy pecans, all drizzled with a warm maple glaze.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe pears, cored and diced
  • 1 wheel (8 oz) Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 24 mini phyllo cups
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, gently toss diced pears, cubed Brie, and chopped pecans. Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo cups.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in maple syrup, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Drizzle maple glaze over each filled cup. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until Brie is melted and edges are golden.
  5. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving warm.
