For the Crust:
- 2 ripe pears, cored and diced
- 1 wheel (8 oz) Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 24 mini phyllo cups
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, gently toss diced pears, cubed Brie, and chopped pecans. Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo cups.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in maple syrup, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Drizzle maple glaze over each filled cup. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until Brie is melted and edges are golden.
- Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving warm.
