For the Crust:
- 4 chicken leg quarters
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Pat chicken quarters dry and rub with olive oil. Place skin-side up in a baking dish.
- Brush half of the maple orange glaze over the chicken quarters.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, basting with remaining glaze halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and skin is golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
