Description

A creamy and tangy dip made with feta cheese, Greek yogurt, and Mediterranean herbs, perfect for dipping vegetables or pita bread.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the dried oregano and chopped fresh dill.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting as desired.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve drizzled with additional olive oil and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if using, alongside fresh vegetables or warm pita bread.
