For the Crust:
- 1 cup pitted Medjool dates (about 12–14 dates)
- 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Line a small loaf pan or container with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine the pitted dates, almond butter, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, and sea salt.
- Process until the mixture is completely smooth and forms a thick, sticky dough, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly into an even layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm, then slice into squares and serve.
