A vibrant and elegant salad featuring warm melted brie, sweet-tart cranberries, crisp pears and apples, and delicate feta snowflakes, all tossed in a light honey-balsamic dressing.

For the Crust:
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
- 2 cups mixed greens (such as arugula and spinach)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1 apple (such as Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts, toasted
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the brie wheel on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until soft and melted in the center.
- In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, dried cranberries, sliced pear, sliced apple, and toasted walnuts.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Transfer the salad to serving plates. Carefully place a portion of the warm melted brie on top of each salad.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the salads to create ‘snowflakes’. Serve immediately while the brie is still warm.
