For the Crust:

  • 1 large burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon edible glitter (gold or silver)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh citrus zest (orange, lemon, or lime)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mixed microgreens or arugula
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, edible glitter, and citrus zest until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Place the burrata on a serving plate or shallow bowl. Gently tear open the top to expose the creamy center.
  3. Drizzle the glittered citrus oil generously over the burrata, allowing it to pool around the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Scatter the microgreens and pomegranate seeds around the burrata for color and texture.
  6. Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices on the side for dipping.
