Description

Bite-sized pecan pies with a buttery crust and sweet, nutty filling, perfect for parties or holiday treats.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust (or homemade dough for 1 pie)
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out pie crust and cut into 24 rounds to fit mini muffin cups. Press each round into a cup.
  3. In a bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spoon filling into each crust-lined cup, filling about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until crust is golden and filling is set. Cool in pan 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
