For the Crust:
- 15 mini phyllo cups (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/4 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the phyllo cups on a baking sheet and bake for 3-5 minutes until lightly crisp. Remove and let cool slightly.
- Place a small cube of brie into each phyllo cup. Return to the oven for 4-5 minutes until the brie is melted.
- In a small bowl, mix cranberry sauce and honey until smooth. Drizzle over the warm brie-filled cups.
- Sprinkle toasted pecans and fresh thyme (if using) over each cup. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
