Description

A decadent dessert featuring flaky puff pastry filled with rich molten chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts, baked to golden perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheet and cut into 4 equal squares. Place a spoonful of chocolate hazelnut spread and a sprinkle of chopped hazelnuts in the center of each square.
  3. Fold the corners of each square to the center, pinching edges to seal. Brush with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden. Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
