Description

A festive, cheesy bread stuffed with gooey mozzarella and aromatic garlic, bringing warmth and joy to every bite.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large loaf of Italian bread
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the bread horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously inside the bread loaf.
  4. Layer the mozzarella slices evenly inside the bread.
  5. Close the loaf and wrap it in foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Unwrap, bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
