For the Crust:
- 1 everything bagel, sliced in half
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh arugula or microgreens for garnish
- Everything bagel seasoning for sprinkling
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Toast the everything bagel halves until golden and crisp.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened to form a drizzle. Set aside to cool.
- Spread softened goat cheese evenly over each toasted bagel half.
- Top each half with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, spreading gently.
- Drizzle the sweet balsamic reduction over the cranberry layer.
- Sprinkle with additional everything bagel seasoning and garnish with arugula or microgreens.
- Serve immediately.
