Description

Creamy, citrus-infused truffles that capture the nostalgic flavor of a classic creamsicle in a bite-sized treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted (for coating)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Stir in orange extract, orange zest, and a drop of orange food coloring if using. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar and crushed vanilla wafers, stirring until a thick, moldable dough forms.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls, then dip each ball into melted white chocolate to coat.
  6. Place truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.
