For the Crust:
- 1 large pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup arugula
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush the flatbread with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the pear slices evenly over the flatbread, then sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and half of the thyme leaves.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- While baking, warm the honey in a small saucepan with the remaining thyme over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove flatbread from oven, top with arugula, and drizzle with the thyme honey before serving.
