For the Crust:
- 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheet. Cut into 4 equal squares.
- Place brie slices in center of each pastry square. Top with pear slices, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and drizzle with 1 tbsp honey.
- Fold pastry corners over pears, sealing edges with egg wash. Brush tops with remaining egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
