For the Crust:
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a medium bowl, combine shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, chopped jalapeños, flour, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until well incorporated.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crisp. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.
