Elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy brie cheese coated in a crunchy pistachio crust, perfect for entertaining.

For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the brie wheel into 1-inch cubes, removing any excess rind if desired.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine chopped pistachios, panko breadcrumbs, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly.
  5. Place coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is soft but not melted through.
  7. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
