For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese, chilled
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cut the chilled brie into 1-inch cubes.
- In a shallow bowl, mix chopped pistachios, panko, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then coat evenly in the pistachio mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry brie bites for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and slightly melted inside.
- Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
