For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese, chilled
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp honey for drizzling
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the chilled brie into 1-inch cubes, ensuring each piece has rind on at least one side.
- In a shallow bowl, mix chopped pistachios, panko, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly.
- Place coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden and slightly melted.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.
