Description
Creamy brie cheese is coated in crunchy pistachios, baked until warm and gooey, and finished with a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle for an irresistible appetizer.

For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese, chilled
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the chilled brie into 1-inch cubes. Dredge each cube in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat evenly with chopped pistachios. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is soft and pistachios are lightly toasted.
- While baking, heat honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 3-4 minutes until warm and infused. Stir in olive oil.
- Arrange baked brie bites on a serving plate, drizzle with hot honey, and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
