Description

Creamy brie cheese coated in a crunchy pistachio crust, baked until warm and gooey. Perfect as an elegant appetizer for any gathering.

For the Crust:

  • 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix chopped pistachios, panko, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Place coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden and cheese is soft.
  5. Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
