For the Crust:
- 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix chopped pistachios, panko, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each brie cube into the beaten egg, then roll in the pistachio mixture to coat evenly.
- Place coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden and cheese is soft.
- Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
