Description

Decadent fudgy brownies infused with rose water and topped with crushed pistachios for an elegant, fragrant treat.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp rose water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • Edible rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, then whisk in sugar, cocoa, salt, and rose water. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in flour until just combined. Fold in half of the chopped pistachios.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan, smooth top, and sprinkle remaining pistachios (and rose petals if using). Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
  5. Let cool completely before slicing into small squares or jewels.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
