Description

Elegant and easy appetizers featuring creamy brie topped with sweet pomegranate arils and crunchy pistachios, baked until warm and melty.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares and place on the baking sheet. Top each square with a cube of brie.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until pastry is golden and cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from oven and top each bite with pomegranate arils, pistachios, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkle of thyme, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
