Flaky puff pastry pinwheels filled with sweet cranberry sauce, creamy brie, and crunchy pecans—perfect for holiday appetizers or elegant snacks.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheet and spread cranberry sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a 1-inch border.
  3. Sprinkle sliced brie and chopped pecans over the cranberry sauce, then top with fresh thyme.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly into a log, starting from the long side. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
  5. Place pinwheels on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and puffed.
