Description

A festive and visually stunning pull-apart bread shaped like a star, filled with creamy brie and tart cranberry sauce, drizzled with spicy hot honey and dusted with powdered sugar for a snowy effect.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound store-bought pizza dough, thawed if frozen
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or jam
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade with honey and chili flakes)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
  • Flour, for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
  2. Using a small bowl or lid as a guide, mark a 3-inch circle in the center of the dough (do not cut through). Around this center circle, make 16 evenly spaced cuts from the edge of the center circle out to the edge of the dough, creating triangular sections.
  3. Place a cube of brie and a small spoonful of cranberry sauce in the center of each triangular section. Fold each triangle over the filling, tucking the tip under to secure, forming a star shape with points.
  4. Brush the entire star with melted butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle the hot honey over the warm bread, then dust generously with powdered sugar to create a ‘snowfall’ effect. Sprinkle with rosemary if using. Serve warm, pulling apart the points to enjoy.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
