Description

Sweet and tangy cranberry-glazed meatballs that are perfect for holiday gatherings or a festive weeknight dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (14 oz) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, then shape into 1-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  4. While meatballs bake, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until smooth and heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Transfer baked meatballs to a serving dish and pour the cranberry glaze over them, tossing gently to coat. Serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
