Description

A stunning seafood wreath featuring a medley of treasures from the sea, glistening like a winter tide and perfect as a show-stopping centerpiece for your table.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, calamari)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll puff pastry into a circle and place on a baking sheet. Use a small bowl to cut out the center, forming a wreath shape.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add seafood and cook until just opaque. Deglaze with white wine and lemon juice.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest.
  4. Spoon seafood mixture onto the puff pastry wreath, leaving the center open. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pastry is golden and puffed.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
