A hearty and indulgent dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy, spiced sauce served with crispy golden fries.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound frozen french fries
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread frozen fries on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in paprika, cayenne pepper, and cumin, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
  6. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  8. Serve chicken and sauce over the crispy fries, garnished with fresh parsley.
