For the Crust:
- 1 large head of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Extra olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a thin, rectangular shape and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a small bowl, mash with a fork, and mix with the remaining olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the garlic-herb mixture, then drizzle lightly with extra olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy. Slice and serve warm.
