Crispy golden hand pies with a tangy-sweet raspberry filling and a glossy honey glaze for the perfect romantic treat.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 package (14 oz) refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out pie crust and cut into 4-inch circles. Spoon raspberry filling onto one half of each circle, leaving a border.
  4. Fold dough over filling, crimp edges with a fork, and brush with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  5. Warm honey slightly and brush over warm pies. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
