Description

Elegant, savory-sweet appetizers featuring creamy brie, aromatic rosemary, and crunchy almonds, baked in flaky puff pastry to resemble festive snowflakes.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3-inch squares. Place a cube of brie in the center of each square.
  3. Fold corners of each square toward the center, slightly overlapping to form a snowflake shape, and press gently to seal.
  4. Brush each bite with egg wash, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with almonds and rosemary.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until pastry is golden and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
