  • 1 lb fresh sea scallops, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, cilantro, garlic, honey, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season scallops with salt and pepper, then sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Transfer scallops to a plate and drizzle with the lime cilantro sauce.
  5. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
