Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound large sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, cilantro, garlic, and honey. Drizzle over scallops before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
