For the Crust:
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1–2 fresh red chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp fresh orange juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens. Stir in chopped chilies, orange zest, and orange juice.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in heavy cream until fully incorporated. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
