Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 12 fresh red chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens. Stir in chopped chilies, orange zest, and orange juice.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in heavy cream until fully incorporated. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
