Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender cabbage with a spicy kick, perfect as a side dish or light main course.

For the Crust:

  • 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 23 dried red chilies, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and crushed red chilies, stir-frying for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until slightly wilted but still crisp.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar, tossing to coat evenly.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with green onions.
  6. Season with salt if needed and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
