Description

A gourmet flatbread topped with creamy spinach-artichoke spread, melted brie, and crispy garlic breadcrumbs for a savory crunch.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or pre-made pizza crust
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, half of the Parmesan, half of the minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to make the spread.
  3. Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Arrange brie slices on top of the spread.
  5. In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add remaining garlic and breadcrumbs, toast until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the garlic breadcrumbs and remaining Parmesan over the flatbread.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are crisp and brie is melted.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm with optional red pepper flakes.
