Description

A creamy, savory casserole featuring tender spinach, tangy feta cheese, and sweet roasted garlic, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 head of garlic, roasted and mashed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine spinach, feta, roasted garlic, sour cream, Parmesan, eggs, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
