Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cooled spinach-mushroom mixture, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Cut the log into 8 equal slices and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
