Description

Tender, juicy chicken meatballs air-fried to perfection and coated in a sweet, spicy, and sticky glaze that packs a flavorful punch.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, panko, egg, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, then form into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs in air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if needed. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, and rice vinegar. Simmer over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss cooked meatballs in the glaze until evenly coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
