Description

A quick and flavorful weeknight meal featuring tender chicken glazed in a sweet and savory garlic sauce, served over buttery spaghetti.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and toss with 1 tbsp butter. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the glaze.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, then pour in the glaze mixture. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sticky garlic sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve the sticky garlic chicken over the buttered spaghetti, garnished with chopped parsley.
