Description
A fiery-sweet chicken dish with a sticky honey-chili glaze, caramelized edges, and a devilishly spicy kick.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the glaze.
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and caramelizes onto the chicken, about 10-12 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot over rice or with steamed vegetables.
Notes
