Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes if using to prevent burning.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss Brussels sprouts in the glaze until evenly coated.
- Thread the Brussels sprouts onto skewers, placing 4-5 halves per skewer. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until sprouts are tender and glaze is sticky.
- While roasting, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring until fragrant and lightly browned.
- Remove skewers from oven, sprinkle with toasted walnuts, and serve warm.
