Description

A festive and savory wreath made from stuffed mushrooms arranged in a beautiful garland, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 24 large cremini mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Finely chop the reserved mushroom stems. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped stems, onion, and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mixture, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, cream cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fill each mushroom cap with the stuffing mixture, mounding slightly. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms in a circle on the baking sheet to form a wreath.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
