Description
Golden, flaky layers hiding warm cheesy fillings—a holiday showstopper perfect for tearing and sharing.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Unfold puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Spread the cheese filling evenly over one sheet, leaving a 1-inch border. Place the second sheet on top and press edges to seal.
- Cut the layered pastry into 1-inch wide strips from the center outward, leaving the center intact to form a wreath shape. Twist each strip and arrange in a circle on the baking sheet.
- Brush the wreath with beaten egg. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
