Description

Roasted sweet potato halves topped with creamy burrata, drizzled with spicy hot honey for a perfect balance of sweet and heat.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush sweet potato halves with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Place cut-side down on baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 25-30 minutes until tender. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  4. Turn potatoes cut-side up. Gently place burrata pieces on each half.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
